Key Responsibilities and Challenges:
Ensure that committed engineering deliverables to the bid are achieved within time, quality and budget and in line with legislation and safety.
Establish and maintain interfaces with all involved engineering departments (Vehicle Design, System Engineering, Physical Integration, Product Integrity, Engineering Performance Office) & with relevant functions (Project Core Teams, Sales, Bids).
Support the Bid Manager in the development of relevant skills within the Bid Engineering Department (workforce planning, performance management, career development, succession planning and recruitment).
Continuous optimization of Project Engineering processes/tools/behaviors by taking into account business requirements, customer needs, technical innovations, and new market conditions.
Project status are known and managed at all times and critical paths, technical issues, risks are presented and dealt with in a timely manner.
Prepare and organize the hand over with Project team following contract award.
Key expected deliverables are:
Responsibility on on-time delivery of bid documents with the appropriate conformance, quality and integrity, within the approved budget.
Prepare the engineering calculation sheet showing all estimated hours from all necessary and relevant engineering departments
Prepare technical solutions to Customer and close all open items
Qualifications & Desired Skills:
Mechanical or Electrical Engineering University degree or similar.
7-10 years working experience in a similar field.
Exposure to railway domain (rolling stock) preferred.
Strong drive for results, team work and excellent communication skills
